Job summary

HD Fowler Company, Bellevue, WA, is seeking a full-time Credit Account Specialist to manage commercial and residential construction receivables. You will call on customers, research credit information, set up project files for lien protection, file pre-lien notices, and reconcile accounts while advising the Credit Manager.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years in AR, strong communication, and problem-solving skills; construction lien experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accounts receivable experience within commercial or residential construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous credit/collection experience in construction and lien waiver experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call on customers for the collection of accounts receivable.
• Research additional information as needed to make sound credit decisions and recommendations to Credit Manager.
• Set-up project files and research ownership for lien right protection.
• File pre-lien notices on accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and alert Credit Manager of any concerns.
• Secure and monitor legal positions on projects; monitoring and filing lien and bond claims as necessary.
