Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Cost Control Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for complex projects in Missouri. You will coordinate with project teams, procurement, and commercial groups to maintain budgets and drive cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with Primavera P6 and ERP systems, and experience with large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of cost control experience in construction.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-trend analysis abilities.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project budgets and cost breakdown structure (CBS).
• Monitor actual costs against budgets and identify variances.
• Prepare periodic cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and earned value analyses.
• Review subcontractor payments and progress claims.
• Support contract administration, change management and value engineering.
