Job summary

360 Headhunter in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Construction Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple active construction projects. You will manage financial reporting, job costing, cash flow, billing, and accounting functions for a growing subcontracting business.

The ideal candidate will excel in progress billing, retainage, change orders, certified payroll, subcontractor and vendor management, labor costing, project closeout, and contract compliance, partnering with project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience in construction.
Experience with construction company preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close.
Manage job-cost accounting by project (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, overhead).
Monitor project budgets, committed costs, actual costs, gross margins, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
Oversee progress billing, pay applications, retainage, collections, and accounts receivable.
Review contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and billing requirements for accurate invoicing.
