Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Controller to lead the accounting operations across complex construction projects. You will own job costing, revenue recognition, WIP reporting, and overall financial reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency.

You will partner with project managers and operations, drive strong internal controls, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and audits. This is a hands-on leadership role in a growing, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in construction.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with AIA billing and job costing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Manage revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and construction accounting standards.
• Oversee job costing to ensure costs are captured, coded, and reported accurately.
• Prepare and analyze WIP schedules, cost-to-complete estimates, and gross profit projections.
