Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience supervising accounting staff and managing diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting software and MS Office.
• Exceptional knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and internal control development.
• Manage all accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Work with project managers and senior leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
