Job summary

Controller Construction Omaha leads the financial function for a growing construction-focused organization. You will own the full accounting cycle, close processes, and ensure accurate reporting that informs project profitability and growth.

You will partner with operations, oversee job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, and maintain strong internal controls, audits readiness, and cash planning. This builder role demands hands-on leadership and problem solving to scale the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 5 years of construction accounting experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience with construction ERP systems (Sage Intacct, Spectrum) and strong controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting cycle with focus on accuracy, speed, and integrity.
• Own monthly close and financial reporting, ensuring clean, reliable results.
• Oversee job cost accounting, WIP, and revenue recognition.
• Review project performance, margins, and cost variances.
• Maintain strong controls and audit readiness; support lenders and stakeholders.
• Partner with operations; translate activity into meaningful financial insight.
