Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • NCMA CPCM or equivalent certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction risk management or closely related field.
  • Three years of supervisory experience with authority for personnel actions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills for risk modeling and data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations.
  • Contract and insurance expertise in construction.
  • Expert negotiation skills.
  • Project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize risks and make decisions under uncertainty.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Experience with AI-assisted contract review tools and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to and promotes all company safety policies and conduct.
  • Manages contracts administration staff and ensures regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure contracts are monitored for contract terms compliance.
  • Analyze plans, contracts, site conditions for risks.
  • Review contracts and purchase orders to identify risk transfer points and negotiate clauses.
  • Provide guidance on contract risk mitigation and master agreements with subcontractors.
  • Develop risk management policies and train staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers, legal, HR, procurement, and subcontractors.
