Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Contracts Manager in San Jose, CA to lead review, negotiation and management of contracts and subcontracts for our construction teams.

You will work with project teams and senior staff to ensure compliance and accuracy of contract documents. The role requires five years of contracts administration experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Five (5) years of contracts management experience.
• Proven ability to manage contracts and subcontracts in a corporate/legal setting.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and manage contracts and subcontracts for construction operations.
• Prepare and amend contract documents, including redlines for customer and vendor contracts.
• Track and maintain company contracts and records maintained by contracts team.
• Research, preparation and filing of preliminary lien notices.
• Research, preparation, recording and tracking of construction collection remedies.
• Prepare agreements for subcontractors with project teams and senior staff.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm completeness and mitigate risks.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
