Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) seeks a Project Purchasing Manager for Data Center projects to lead strategic buying of electrical commodities, onboard vendor engagement, and manage purchase orders for site deliveries.

You will collaborate with a General Foreman to develop Bills of Material, track deliveries, expediting, and report supplier performance quarterly. Minimum five years of purchasing experience in electrical construction; Bachelor's degree or equivalent; strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent industry experience.
• Five years of Purchasing experience required (Construction of Electrical Distribution preferred).
• Experience with vendor onboarding, RFPs, QCS, Submittal processes, Fabrication & Scheduling updates, and meeting minutes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic procurement of electrical commodities for data center projects.
• Onboard vendor engagement processes: RFP, QCS, Submittal, Scheduling updates, and Minutes with Action Item Log.
