Job summary

Jones Edmunds & Associates is seeking a CEI Associate Resident Compliance Specialist for Lake City, FL. You will help ensure projects comply with federal and state labor and civil rights requirements, and work with contractors and internal teams to promote equitable outcomes on public infrastructure projects.

The role involves reviewing payrolls, attending preconstruction meetings, and maintaining thorough records. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of administrative experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of a Resident Compliance Specialist.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings to educate contractors on compliance requirements.
• Review Daily Work Reports to assess contractor activity and compliance status.
• Verify certified payrolls for accuracy, classification, wage rates, and timeliness.
• Review field interviews and reconcile them with payroll records.
• Issue and track noncompliance notices and follow up to support resolution.
• Maintain organized records for payroll, labor interviews, and compliance documentation.
• Support the On-the-Job Training program, including document review and on-site trainee interviews.
• Review Monthly Time Reports and report discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with the District Contract Compliance Manager and project teams.
• Travel to project sites as required.
