Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Senior Inspector to support transportation and infrastructure projects located in Tallahassee, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties, field inspections, audit duties, and maintaining inspection records.
  • Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations; inspect construction work and conduct field tests.
  • Coordinate and manage lower‑level inspectors.
  • Perform work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
  • Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Set and meet own project deadlines.
  • Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.
  • Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
  • Track quality assurance progress.
  • Provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges).

  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II.
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.

  • FDOT Intermediate MOT.
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I.
  • Nuclear Radiation Safety.
  • Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.
Additional Information
  • Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Relocation is not provided for this position.
  • All newly hired employees are required to attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
  • Offered compensation range: USD 30 – USD 45 per hour, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
