Job summary
FlatironDragados, located in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to transform project data into precise shop drawings and 3D representations under the guidance of Construction Engineers.
The candidate should have a technical or Associate degree in CAD/engineering and at least 4 years of CAD experience, including 3+ years in construction. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Civil 3D and Revit is a plus. This role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Associates degree in CAD/Engineering or related technical field.
- 4+ years of CAD experience, including proficiency with CAD software.
- 3+ years of experience in the Construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Creates shop drawings with tolerances, dimensions, materials, and data per guidance and design specs.
- Prepares preliminary designs for review by Construction Engineer team.
- Analyzes sketches and inputs to determine best drawing approach using internal software.
- Maintains alignment with engineering requirements and company standards.
- Builds detailed drawings describing construction design intent and critical elements.
