Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a CAD Designer in Concord, California, to prepare layout drawings and schematic diagrams for temporary works plans. You will collaborate with Construction Engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with CAD.
• 1+ years of experience within the Construction industry.
• Knowledge of architectural and mechanical drafting tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layout drawings and schematic diagrams under the direction of Construction Engineering Group.
• Produce drawings based on feedback and design specifications.
• Calculate quantities and dimensions within procedural limitations.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software

Understanding of heavy civil temporary works constructability

Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders

Self-motivated

Education

Technical degree or Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Design
