Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will create shop drawings using 2D/3D tools and maintain the digital catalog for production.

Based in North Carolina, you will work with engineering, sales, and QC to ensure products meet latest drawings. Requirements: 2+ years AutoCAD/Inventor, high school diploma (associates preferred), and ability to read construction plans; precast concrete experience is highly

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to handle several projects with minimal guidance.
• Precast concrete experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production
• Adhere to customer (Internal and External) volumes, timelines and expectations
• Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and Quality Control
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for existing/new products as needed for sales staff and plant projects
• Update/maintain digital database, e.g. Autodesk vault, cloud server, hard-copies and engineering documents
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
