Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications, maintain catalog drawings and digital library, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure products match latest shop drawings.

Based at one of our NC plants (Raleigh, Greensboro, Fuquay Varina, Fayetteville, or Concord), the role requires 2+ years of AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor experience, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and the

Qualifications

• Read and interpret sketches, construction and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong ability to review contract drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to internal and external volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings from existing and new products.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects as needed.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies).
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
