Insight Global’s client is a construction engineering design firm that specializes in temporary and permanent works engineering for complex infrastructure and construction projects across North America. Specifically, the company provides engineering design, analysis, and stamped drawings for construction means and methods, including:

• Scaffold design
• Excavation and structural shoring
• Suspended platforms
• Falsework and formwork

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. While we’re flexible on your background, recent and advanced AutoCAD experience is essential. If you can make AutoCAD “sing,” we’ll teach you the rest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD
• Visualize and translate concepts into buildable designs
• Collaborate with the Drafting Manager for workload management and the Branch Manager for people/office related management
• Apply drafting concepts, practices, and procedures to support project goals

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of professional drafting experience
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong construction/mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize structural or architectural elements

Plusses:

• Experience with Revit and/or 3D AutoCAD
• Degree
