Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX. The role blends business development to win new commercial projects with hands-on project management from procurement through closeout.

You will build schedules, coordinate material lead times, crews, and site readiness; manage procurement/logistics and oversee subs remotely; track budgets, change orders, and billing milestones; maintain submittals and RFIs for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years in construction sales, estimating, or project management preferred.
Track record of winning new work through bidding and relationship management.
Familiarity with construction workflows (bid, submittal, procurement, installation, closeout).
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM/PM tools (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
Office-based; travel/jobsite visits as needed.

Responsibilities

Business Development: pursue new commercial project opportunities with GCs, developers, and architects; scope overhead doors and dock equipment; own bid pipeline; build relationships to generate repeat/referral business; support pricing strategy and negotiate terms.
