Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities across our Texas projects. You will manage scope, budget, schedules, and field teams to deliver high-quality homes that meet Bluejack standards.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with estimators, reviewing contracts and drawings, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining daily logs in Buildertrend. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of construction materials and management processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Buildertrend or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine defined scopes of work and deliverables.
• Coordinate with estimator to review construction budget based on scope of work.
• Meet home production schedule milestones and document progress in Buildertrend.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety codes and maintain SWPPP BMPs.
• Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers; control costs.
