Job summary

Charter Construction, a division of American Restoration Operations, seeks a Business Development Manager based in Seattle to identify prospective clients and pursue opportunities in designated market segments. You will collaborate with remediation, special projects, and restoration teams and marketing leaders to land projects.

We value at least 5 years in business development or relationship-building; no construction background required.

Qualifications

5-10 years of customer relations or business development experience in a mid-sized, entrepreneurial company with a long sales cycle.
Demonstrated experience in building successful long-term relationships.
College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Reach out to community managers, architects, consultants, and other industry professionals regularly to develop and maintain relationships.
Identify potential projects and obtain opportunities for Charter Construction to bid or negotiate those projects.
Track project leads and critical path information on prospects.
Assist in writing proposals and preparing brochures as needed.
Create and maintain a database of relevant contacts, clients, prospective clients, and business partners.
Represent Charter Construction in Washington at industry trade shows, trade group meetings, serve on committees, and participate in relevant events.
