Job summary

Getgrooven is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist focused on New Construction to join our Accounting & Finance team in Utah. You will manage the end-to-end billing for construction contracts, track progress payments, and ensure milestones are met to support cash flow and project transparency.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in accounts receivable or billing, strong Excel skills, and experience with Procore or similar billing software. AIA billing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable or billing experience.
• Experience with construction contracts and project-based billing.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Procore or similar billing software.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing for construction contracts per project terms.
• Set up billing using Schedule of Values to start projects.
• Prepare and submit draw requests and progress billings by milestones.
• Coordinate lien waivers and compliance docs for subs and vendors.
• Prepare reporting such as lien releases and certified payroll reporting.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure billing reflects work completed.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on payments.
