Job summary

Jobtailor in Kansas is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to prepare and administer accurate client billings for assigned projects. You will gather billing information from project teams, review documentation for completeness, enter data into systems, and coordinate with Operations, Finance, Project Management, and General Ledger to ensure timely and compliant invoicing.

The role requires meticulous record keeping, adherence to contract terms, and the ability to identify discrepancies

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4+ years in billing related roles.
Experience in construction billing preferred.
Ability to work with project contracts and client billing requirements.
Travel 0-10%.
Employment contingent upon background/drug test.

Responsibilities

Prepare and administer accurate client billings for assigned projects.
Prepare client bills per processes and contract terms.
Review billing requirements and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Gather billing information from project teams and stakeholders.
Enter and maintain billing information in applicable systems.
Track deadlines, workflows, and approvals.
Escalate discrepancies to Senior Operation Specialist as needed.
