Job summary

Falcon Steel in Springfield, MO is seeking a Billing & Compliance Coordinator to support credit, accounts receivable, construction pay applications, lien and bond rights, insurance certificates, and sales/use tax compliance across all projects. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role keeps billing timely and accurate and protects cash flow.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in credit, collections, or construction billing, familiarity with AIA pay applications, liens/bonds, and ERP/AR

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in credit, collections, accounting support, or construction billing.
• Experience in construction or steel industry preferred.
• Knowledge of credit evaluation, AR management, and collection practices.

Responsibilities

• Credit decisions, AR aging, and payment plan coordination.
• Prepare and submit monthly pay apps; manage schedules of values and billing logs.
• Track liens, bond rights, notices, and confirmations; ensure cash-flow protection.
• Coordinate with accounting on invoices, retention, and tax documentation.
• Communicate risk; provide regular AR reporting and cash-flow insights.
