Herbst Electric, based in Cleveland, Ohio, part of The State Group family, seeks an Accounting Coordinator to manage AIA billings, T&M invoices, and monthly close tasks. You will ensure accurate billing, contract compliance, and timely submissions while supporting project teams.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of accounting or relevant experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with safety requirements and actively promote a positive safety culture.
• Prepare, review, and process AIA billings and Time & Material (T&M) invoices, ensuring accuracy and contract compliance.
• Monitor billing schedules and contract requirements to ensure on-time submissions.
• Reconcile expense reports, credit cards, gas cards, and invoicing; investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Respond to customer billing inquiries and coordinate with project managers, operations, and finance to resolve issues.
• Assist with month-end billing close processes and revenue-related support.
• Track outstanding invoices and assist with collections as needed.
• Maintain accurate records related to customer accounts and project documentation.
• Train and provide guidance to other team members as needed.
• Complete various projects throughout the year.
• Additional duties as assigned.
