Job summary

Sandis seeks a proactive Business Development Coordinator to drive client outreach in the Greater Sacramento area and Central Valley. You will build a robust pipeline, nurture relationships with clients and industry partners, and collaborate with marketing on outreach strategies across events and digital channels.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in BD or sales in construction, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong CRM/office software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years in business development, sales, or account management in construction industry.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Suite, and MS Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge and strong connections in the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Network and outreach to potential clients for projects aligning with marketing goals.
• Build a client pipeline through networking events, referrals, and industry conferences.
• Maintain relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and services.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen connections.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute networking strategies across digital platforms.
• Assist with strategies to acquire new business and expand Sandis' presence in construction.
• Enter project, client, and BD information into the CRM system.
• Occasionally travel outside Northern California to attend conferences.
