Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is hiring an Audit Director or Manager to join our CLA Carolantaville Construction team. This in-office role can sit in Charlotte, Raleigh, Atlanta, or Nashville. You will work with CLA's construction clients to provide clarity into their business and strengthen controls.

You will lead planning, staffing, and execution of engagements, mentor staff, and ensure timely delivery. CPA required with a proven ability to drive client success and strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• CPA license certification is required.
• You lead a team of high-performing people and drive client success.
• You bring solutions and strategic insight to engagements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of construction industry engagements as delegated by Principals.
• Plan timing, staffing and execution of assurance engagements to deliver client value.
• Lead decision-making and keep Engagement Principal informed of progress.
• Develop and mentor a trained team through recruitment and assignments.
• Oversee engagement letters, discuss terms with clients, and secure sign-off.
• Evaluate internal controls and audit programs, updating as needed.
• Monitor time budgets and deadlines, communicate developments to the Principal, and conduct final client meetings.
