Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable.
• CPA required.
• Eight (8)+ years’ experience providing financial statement auditing services in a professional services firm in construction desired.
• Five (5)+ years Construction preferred.
• Five (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates desire.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance and other services to middle market clients.
• Lead engagement teams, manage staffing, billing/collections and client profitability targets.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, building new opportunities across service lines.
• Mentor and coach staff, supporting professional development and career growth.
• Drive growth of Baker Tilly's practice by delivering high-quality service and entrepreneurial client development.
