Job summary

Koors Contracting seeks a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead interior construction and renovation projects in the Baltimore/DC area.

The role supports planning, scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, cost tracking, safety, and project closeout, with 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-to-senior-level construction experience is preferred.
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, and documentation is required.
  • Ability to read and understand contract documents, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in project planning, including scope review and schedule development.
  • Help manage subcontractor agreements and ensure contract compliance and documentation.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation with timely responses and approvals.
  • Support change management by logging change orders and collecting backup documentation.
  • Assist in tracking project schedules and coordinating updates with the field team.
  • Monitor procurement and delivery schedules to prevent delays.
  • Attend jobsite meetings, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Support cost reporting, invoice approvals, and budget reconciliation.
  • Help ensure safety compliance through site audits and documentation.
  • Assist in project closeout with warranties, as-builts, and final docs.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our team and lead projects from start to finish with precision, professionalism, and excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in project planning, including scope review, schedule development, and subcontractor selection.
  • Help manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring contract compliance, scope alignment, and proper documentation.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
  • Support change management, including logging and tracking change orders, gathering backup documentation, and assisting in negotiations.
  • Assist in tracking project schedules and coordinating updates with the field team.
  • Monitor procurement and delivery schedules to prevent project delays.
  • Participate in jobsite meetings, take meeting minutes, and track action items.
  • Support financial tracking by assisting with cost reporting, invoice approvals, and budget reconciliation.
  • Help ensure safety compliance by supporting site audits and tracking necessary documentation.
  • Assist in project closeout by ensuring all warranties, as-builts, and final documentation are completed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of construction experience, including time as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of contract documents, project schedules, and financial tracking.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate project challenges and assist in proactive solutions.
