Job summary

Key Construction Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects from preconstruction through closeout in Ohio. You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, or Primavera. A results‑driven, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project controls.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, contract compliance, and quality control.
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and progress reports with stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed.

Position Summary
