Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Controller to support month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance across our construction projects. This role reports to the Controller and will collaborate with the VP of Accounting and Finance to provide accurate financial data and insights.

The position offers growth opportunities in budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls within a fast-growing HVAC/mechanical services company.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Assist with financial reporting for internal/external stakeholders including leadership and auditors.
• Support A/P and A/R functions, vendor statement reconciliations, and collections of outstanding invoices.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with the Controller/VP of Accounting and Finance.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
