Job summary

PACK Power, LLC is seeking a general helper who will assist other craft workers in physical labor on jobsites, while maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project.

The role offers nationwide opportunities based on project needs, with assignments typically lasting 4 to 10 months. A base salary plus a daily per diem is provided to assist with living expenses while on assignment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 0–12 months of related experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic arithmetic skills (adding/subtracting two-digit numbers; multiplying/dividing by tens and hundreds).

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete all required safety documentation.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and loading operations.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications with tools.
• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel or screed.
• Position, join, align and connect pumps, motors and other mechanical parts.
• Apply caulking to seal crevices.
• Operate hand tools and equipment including grinding or sanding surfaces.
• May be required to install electrical conduit and grounding and pull wire through conduit.
• Travel to different jobsites on limited notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
