Job summary

Bethlehem Construction, Inc. in Cashmere, WA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to own the full AP cycle, ensure accuracy, and maintain vendor relationships.

You will work in a fast-paced, construction-focused office environment, supporting deadlines and cost controls. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP within construction or industrial sectors, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage 300 RE Construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally within the construction, manufacturing, or commercial industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Hands-on experience with Sage 300 RE Construction software is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with job-costing, construction lien waivers, and purchase order systems is a major plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Accounts Payable: Manage end-to-end AP functions, including vendor invoice processing, PO matching, coding, and weekly check runs.
• Vendor & Account Reconciliation: Maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors; resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Compliance & Record Keeping: Ensure all payments comply with company policies, job-costing structures, and construction accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting Assistance: Support month-end closing procedures, reporting, and audit preparations as needed.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and office staff to verify job-cost coding and material billing.
