Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to serve as the accounting department's operational core for a family-owned contractor in Clackamas, Oregon. You will manage daily payables, receivables, and vendor administration in Acumatica, collaborating with the Controller and ownership to ensure accurate project progress billings and cash application.

Responsibilities include subcontractor payments, job costing, and cross-training on certified payroll reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of combined accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
• Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivot tables), Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Teams.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and competency evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable & Progress Billing: Prepare monthly progress billings, AIA G702/G703 pay applications, and time-and-material invoices; manage billing backup, lien releases, preliminary notices, and retention collection.
