Cleveland Construction is seeking an entry level accountant to join our team. This role covers a range of accounting tasks across multiple entities in construction and development projects.

Responsibilities include AP processing, payroll validation, vendor onboarding, and liaising with operations to ensure timely, accurate financial activity. The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, organized, and capable of learning new software quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry or similar experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft software products.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage subcontractor payments and draws.
• Assist with payroll processing and verification of hours.
• Coordinate with operations for invoice approvals.
• Handle vendor documentation (W-9s, banking information).
• Research past-due invoices and resolve discrepancies.
