Job summary

CSEngineering seeks a full-time Construction Administrator / Quality Assurance Specialist to provide construction management and administrative oversight for the VA Milwaukee EHRM Infrastructure Upgrade project. Offsite + onsite duties, onsite at Clement J.

Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI for the contract duration. The role combines construction administration with QA monitoring, docs, and coordination among Government, GC, A/E, Commissioning Agent, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field; equivalent work experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 6 years of construction work experience if substituting for formal education.
• Experience in healthcare and information technology (IT) projects/facilities is critical.
• Experience monitoring construction activities for Quality Assurance.
• Understanding of baseline schedules and determining the value of acceptable work in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHRM project construction management support to the COR.
• Deliver decisive direction on business, technical, and project management matters across multi-disciplinary activities as directed by the COR.
• When delegated, take responsibility for overall project management in terms of technical quality, cost, and schedule.
• Monitor construction activities for Quality Assurance and identify incongruities and deficiencies in contractor work relative to construction documents.
• Understand and apply the baseline schedule and assist in determining the value of acceptable work in place.
• Maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports.
• Lead the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective oversight.
• Coordinate with Government, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, Commissioning Agent, and other stakeholders to support project execution.
• Support construction documentation, QA activities, project coordination, and related administrative requirements.
• Present relevant experience from three prior projects of similar scale and complexity as part of the quote package.
