Job summary

United Contractor Services, LLC. is seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team.

You will manage A/R processes, post receipts, and communicate with customers to ensure timely payments on large commercial projects. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of A/R experience in the construction industry and strong knowledge of ERP systems like ViewPoint or Oracle, plus proficiency in Excel and related tools.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and A/R processes.
Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

Maintain Accounts Receivable process, posting receipts and contacting customers when A/R is past due.
Reconcile customer accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely receipts.
Collaborate with accounting team when discrepancies arise between receipts and A/R recorded.
Coordinate waivers from sub-contractors as required by customers for payment of A/R.
Respond to inquiries regarding accounting and finance matters and support month-end close.
Maintain documentation for audits and compliance; assist with data entry and filing.
