Job summary

Staffmark Group in Verona, PA seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time, on-site role. You will manage full-cycle AP with a construction focus, handling invoices, subcontractor docs, and coding in a cloud-based approval system.

Experience with job costing, AIA billing, cost codes, POs, and SAGE is preferred. A HS diploma is required; an accounting degree is a plus. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with benefits and a collaborative accounting team.

Qualifications

• Must have construction industry A/P experience.
• Strong understanding of job costing, AIA billing, and PO/subcontract processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a team setting.
• On-site, full-time role with on-the-job training and accuracy emphasis.
• Experience with SAGE or similar accounting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle A/P processing with focus on construction accounting.
• Scan, code, and route invoices and subcontractor documents for approval.
• Use cloud-based approval system to route invoices to owners and PMs.
• Export approved invoices to SAGE accounting software.
• Track and reconcile use tax, receipts, and credit card balances.
• Maintain daily and year-end filing and documentation.
• Support job costing and use of cost codes, AIA billing, retention, and POs.
