Job summary

McCree General Contractors and Architects, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Accounting Department.

The role reports to the Controller and supports multiple divisions and related entities on AP and invoicing for construction and design projects. The ideal candidate has an accounting/finance degree or related experience, plus strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting / Finance degree or related specialty preferred or 5 years’ experience.
• One-year experience in construction industry a plus.
• Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day transactional support and maintenance of general ledger accounts with emphasis on Accounts Payable.
• Review and code and data-entry of vendor, subcontractor invoices and AIA Pay Applications.
• Manage and reconcile credit card accounts; prepare timely contract billings and invoices.
