Job summary

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Accounting Manager to lead our construction accounting team and partner with project teams to ensure precise financial processing for affordable housing developments.

You will manage AP, owner billings, subcontractor payments, and project draws while driving process improvements and internal controls using Vista and Procore. The role reports to the Construction Controller in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Progressive experience in construction accounting.
• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint and Procore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Construction Accounting team and ensure timely, accurate accounting functions.
• Oversee accounts payable, weekly payment runs, and Procore Pay optimization.
• Manage monthly owner billings (AIA), subcontractor payments, and draws coordination.
• Prepare contractor cost certifications and compliance documentation for affordable housing projects.
• Coordinate Vista and Procore integrations; troubleshoot ERP sync issues and maintain data accuracy.
• Support cash forecasting, month-end close, and internal/external audits.
