Job summary

USA Renovations is seeking a motivated Construction Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations across multiple job sites. You will handle AP/AR, vendor invoices, and client billing while assisting payroll and job cost entries.

The role requires 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience, familiarity with QuickBooks Online, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced construction environment. Benefits include holidays, PTO, life insurance, parking, and gym access (employee-paid).

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bookkeeping or administrative experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar software.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn construction-specific procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions (expenses, income, bank activity).
• Enter and code vendor invoices and client billings.
• Match and attach receipts/invoices in accounting software.
• Assist in client billing preparation (T&M logs, progress billing).
• Maintain and update A/R and A/P aging reports.
• Support payroll input and timesheet tracking.
• File and organize backup documentation.
• Prepare supporting documents for monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with project job cost entry and labor allocations.
• Flag late payments or issues to the Accounting Manager.
