Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in El Monte, CA for a temporary/Temp-to-Hire engagement. The role requires full-cycle A/P experience, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and job costing.

Construction accounting background is highly preferred. Responsibilities include matching invoices to PO/subcontractor agreements, handling job costing and lien waivers, resolving payment discrepancies, and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Construction accounting experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing, subcontractor invoices, and lien waivers.
• Experience with Sage 300/Timberline, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, invoice matching, and vendor reconciliations.

Responsabilités

• Process full-cycle A/P, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
• Handle construction job costing, subcontractor billing, and lien waivers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Process check runs, ACH payments, and maintain vendor records.
• Assist with month-end close, GL reconciliations, and accounting support.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
