Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a south bay construction company in Fremont, CA. This 100% in-office role requires at least 5 years of accounts payable experience in a construction environment and the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload.

You will process about 300 invoices weekly, perform 3-way matching, code invoices to jobs, verify approvals, reconcile statements, and maintain vendor records.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Construction experience required.
• Solid knowledge of debits and credits.
• Able to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
• Independent, self-motivated with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 300 invoices per week.
• Perform 3-way matching (invoices, POs, receipts).
• Code invoices to the correct job and ensure proper approvals.
• Reconcile monthly statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain vendor files, scanning, and insurance documents.
• Assist on projects as assigned.
