Berklee College of Music in Boston invites applications for the Cabaret Ensemble under the Conservatory. This student employment role directs and choreographs three cabaret productions for the Boston community, teaching and performing as needed.

The position serves as the primary liaison between the Conservatory and Cabaret performers, coordinating leadership, rehearsals, and casting while supporting marketing and recruitment efforts to engage local hospitals, schools, and community venues.

Qualifications

• Strong artistic direction skills; leadership and communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to manage time and organize multiple productions.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of song repertoire and performance spaces.

Responsibilities

• Must produce, direct, teach, choreograph, and perform in three cabaret productions to be presented in the Boston community.
• Assist with marketing and recruitment of Cabaret Ensemble.
• Collaborate with the Musical Director in the creation of performances.
• Assist in casting cabaret performers at auditions.
• Responsible for leadership and supervision of all Cabaret performers.
• Establish and oversee weekly rehearsals of all Cabaret performers.
• Represent the Conservatory at all performances in a responsible and mature manner.
• Additional duties to be assigned.
