California Conservation Corps seeks a Conservationist 2 Education/Training Coordinator to manage the Corpsmember Development Program at the Redding and Siskiyou Centers. You will track hours for AmeriCorps and CCC scholarships, plan CMD events in C³, and train new corpsmembers in COMET orientation and education.
You will also plan and organize community volunteer events, lead Conservationist I staff, supervise Special Corpsmembers, and occasionally work nights or weekends to support field crews.
$5,423.00 - $6,738.00 per Month

Under the general direction of the District Director, the Conservationist 2 Education/Training Coordinator will be responsible for the Corpsmember Development Program (CMD) at the Redding and Siskiyou Centers. The CMD program includes the managing and tracking of hours for Corpsmembers (CM) enrolled in Educational scholarship programs (AmeriCorps and CCC Scholarships), planning, scheduling, and tracking CM events in C³. Schedules and trains all new CMs in Corpsmember Orientation Motivation Education Training (COMET). Planning, posting and organizing community volunteer events and outreach. This position may work alternative schedules that include nights and weekends, including taking out crews. The Conservationist 2 will act as a Lead for the Conservationist 1’s and supervise Special Corpsmembers (SpCM).
This position will report to the Redding Center at 4900 Mountain Lakes Blvd. Suite A. Redding, CA 96003.
This position is classified as "In Office" and is not eligible for telework.
When working in the office: climate controlled, artificial light, sitting long periods of time.
When working outdoors in the field: mild winters and hot summers. Overnight travel may be required when responding to emergencies.
