Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. seeks a Connectivity Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a small team responsible for sourcing, change management, and BoM coordination of connectivity telematics modules across GM architectures.

The role collaborates with vehicle integration, product management, and system engineering to ensure secure, reliable connectivity solutions and guide roadmap development for production readiness and robust launch performance.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ECU hardware development experience
• Sourcing and cost management
• Supplier coordination

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of hardware Design Release Engineers for connectivity hardware modules.
• Drive specification development for connectivity components (RF, power, security, regulatory).
• Own sourcing, Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and align with Product Cost Engineering for hardware solutions.
• Lead vehicle packaging and integration of connectivity hardware into platforms with mechanical, thermal, EMC constraints.
• Manage program-specific interface control documents (ICDe/ICDm) and align with system, software, and vehicle requirements.
• Maintain the ECU BoM and coordinate Tier-N resiliency activities, including design reviews and risk tracking.
