General Motors seeks a Staff Hardware Engineer to own the system architecture and technical direction for connectivity modules across multiple vehicle platforms. You will define scalable architectures, guide implementation across teams, and ensure robust performance from concept through production and field deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of hardware development with deep focus on system architecture and integration.
• Strong expertise in SoC-based system design, including power architecture, clocks, resets, and boot flows.
• Experience with high-speed digital design (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, LPDDR) and SI/PI considerations.
• Proven track record solving complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, and RF domains.
• Experience with power delivery design, PMICs, and sleep/wake strategies.
• Ability to lead technical direction across teams and influence without authority.

Responsibilities
