Job summary

Maritz in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced Meeting and Events Program Lead to manage complex events from planning through onsite execution. You will partner with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless programs that meet objectives.

You will oversee budgets, vendor relations, site inspections, onsite logistics, travel coordination, and VIP arrangements to ensure a superior attendee experience and profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing large meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients and lead programs from planning to onsite execution.
• Collaborate with Corporate Meeting Planner on Congresses, tradeshows, conventions, and related events.
• Manage event budgets, forecast expenses, negotiate contracts, ensure profitability, and reconcile accounts.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and communicate goals and requirements.
• Source and manage suppliers: hotels, AV, DMCs, air, and other vendors.
• Conduct site inspections and align program strategy with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal partners throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee onsite delivery and handle VIP logistics and special projects.
• Support proposal development, renewals, and client relationships with operational input.
