Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Conformity Assessment Engineer for medium voltage products. You will coordinate between engineering teams and external bodies like UL and IEEE, reporting to the Conformity Assessment group under External Affairs. This role spans our US and Spain locations.

You will lead product listings, drive cross-functional initiatives, and mentor staff. The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience and a Bachelor’s in Engineering, with agile or program leadership a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in conformity or product risk.
• Experience coordinating with external bodies such as UL and IEEE.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex programs.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and listings processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations between design engineering and outside testing laboratories.
• Guide and train engineering staff on regulatory requirements for listings.
• Prioritize work across multiple products and projects.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery.
• Represent Schneider Electric with external standards bodies such as IEEE.
• Develop and implement plans to simplify processes and reduce complexity.
