Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Conformity Assessment Engineer for medium voltage products in the US. You will coordinate between engineering teams and external bodies such as UL, reporting to the Conformity Assessment group under External Affairs, with activity spread across the US and Mexico.

You will lead negotiations with testing labs, guide engineering staff on listing requirements, and drive cross-functional alignment to deliver complex programs while building strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations between Schneider design engineering and outside testing laboratories.
• Guide and train engineering staff on listing requirements.
• Represent Schneider Electric on external standards bodies such as IEEE.
• Develop and implement simplification plans to improve processes.
• Balance priorities with constrained external resources.
