Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm experience in risk management or corporate compliance.
• Active bar licensure in at least one state and in good standing.
• Experience identifying and clearing conflicts at a large firm.
• Experience researching jurisdiction-specific conflict rules.
• Familiarity with major document management systems and research tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze conflict of interest reports; identify conflicts.
• Assist Partners and Associates in resolving conflicts and drafting waivers.
• Provide concise summaries of issues and required steps for resolution.
• Conduct online searches to gather information on potential representations.
• Discuss conflicts with Partners, Associates, and analysts to resolve issues.
• Exercise professional judgment in identifying and resolving conflicts.
• Draft engagement and waiver letters and ensure waivers are obtained.
• Review outside counsel guidelines for deviations and address them.
• Confirm need for ethical walls and manage related processes.
