Zusammenfassung

BakerHostetler is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join its Intake Services department. The role conducts conflicts reviews and analyzes potential conflicts of interest, preparing conflicts reports for lateral attorney hires and other new hires.

The position supports onboarding, matter openings, client transitions, and collaboration with Recruiting, Human Resources, Billing, Intake Operations, and attorneys, while aligning with West Coast business hours across time zones.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of law firm conflicts experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of conflicts analysis, new business intake, and conflicts clearance processes; ability to identify potential conflicts, conduct research, and prepare thorough conflicts analyses.
• Prior experience with Intapp or other automated conflicts software and legal research tools preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong research skills.
• Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Review conflicts forms and information submitted by candidates and new hires.
• Conduct conflicts searches, analyze results, and determine matters needing further review.
• Research prior client relationships, matter involvement, adverse parties, and related information.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, attorneys, and candidates to gather information for conflicts evaluation.
• Coordinate onboarding of lateral attorneys, including engagement letters and matter openings.
• Prepare conflicts reports and summaries, document resolutions, and support clearance activities.
• Review client and matter information for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to inquiries regarding conflicts searches and systems.
• Maintain integrity of conflicts and intake database records.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and stay current on policies.
